"An excellent, new hotel in a somewhat inconvenient location. 20mins walk to Seibu Chichibu Station and not much around the hotel. However it’s only about 10-15 mins to the shrine and old street. The hotel onsen was very good."

"Breakfast is free but not a lot of items if you want western food. The is a McDonald's across the street for breakfast and a Starbucks that opens at 9am, osan air base is a 15-20 minute walk and the train station is just up the stairs. Hotel is being renovated and all the rooms are fresh"

The two outstanding problems with this hotel are (1) access by public transportation is very limited, forcing the guests to hire a taxi to convenient nearby train stations such as Tokorozawa station costing 2,400-2,600 yen each way, and (2) the breakfast purchased optionally is practically the same throughout your stay—three different kinds of sandwiches.
