"This is one of our favorite spots for a weekend getaway. Really cool little strip going to the lake from the hotel. Near view of the river from our room. Hotel is clean and well kept. Staff is friendly. Adequate pool. Little pricy, but worth it when all is said and done. We go here at least once a year. "

"The motel in a quiet area with a path to walk to a small beach area with a great view. Staff were sweet as can be, check in and out went very smoothly. The porch area around my room door was noticeably buggy and there were several mosquitos that had gotten into my room, but it’s understandable given the proximity to the lake. "The place was great! We stayed at this location for our 4 night trip to cedar point with no problems! The price is pretty reasonable and not too far from the park. Everyone complaining about the trains must have never stayed in Sandusky..almost every hotel in the area has the same “problem”. We will definitely be back in the fall! "
