"From start to finish, our stay at the Fairfield in Wilkes-Barre was pleasant and comfortable. The hotel staff were professional, friendly, and competent. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and tasty. Our room and bathroom were clean and featured generous amenities. This is our new 'go to' hotel in the area!"

"Very convenient location. Front desk always available to help. Room large, breakfast very good options. Discussed with them that smokers need to move away from entrances, to enforce the non-smoking policy. Smoke wafted into the entryway, making guests walk through it on way in/out."

"This is a hotel that urgently needs maintenance and renovation. Everything feels outdated, and the bedding is old and worn. Almost every time I stay here, I have to change rooms due to maintenance issues. The last time, for example, the toilet in my room was leaking. Despite these problems, the price is similar to competitors that offer much better infrastructure. For instance, the DoubleTree is newer and often more affordable."

"The hotel was nice. Particularly loved the rounded loveseat in the room! It was close to University of Scranton, which is why we were visiting. Close to Lake Scranton which was also lovely to visit. "

"The front desk was very welcoming and helpful. The room was big and comfortable, but the corners could have been a little cleaner. There was a refrigerator and a small coffee machine. I didn’t use the coffee machine because there was a free breakfast in the morning. When I arrived for breakfast at 9 AM, the coffee station needed to be restocked (understandable), but there was nothing else except a waffle machine of which someone was in the process of sticking his batter to rendering it useless. The price was appropriate given the location and everything else. I recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and passing through."

"Room was bigger than most hotel rooms, had a refrigerator and safe. Bath was a good size with stand up shower. TV was fussy and channels would cut in and out (sadilight TV)."
