Main Street at Linby, Nottinghamshire. On this particular Sunday the village gardens are open as part of the National Gardens Scheme and there are various other attractions, including a Routemaster double-decker.

Farleys Lane Spring. The Farley Brook rises further west, passing under Farleys Lane in a concrete culvert (bottom right), but at this point is added to by a substantial spring which rises within the odd brick structure in the centre.

Hotel was lovely and the beds were comfortable. Really pleasant staff and would recommend the hotel. However wasn’t a fan of 5 WhatsApp messages plus Expedia messages from them think it was a bit too much. Apart from that everything else was great

Pretty hotel. We had a wonderful stay in room 121. The suite had a beautiful 4 poster and the bathroom a huge roll top bath. We visited the spa and had an excellent breakfast. Lovely stay. Will return.
