Unfortunately for foreigners, it’s a little out of the way from the city highlights . Word of warning make sure the cab drivers reset the meters on pick up , my cabbie was a scammer. That was the only disappointment of the whole trip .

Courtyard by Marriott Tianjin Hongqiao
This was a pleasant stay in Tianjin, very convenient and close to subway, shopping centres, restaurants, cafes, etc. The staff and service was superb. Cleaning crew were very friendly and attentive. If we had an issue, it was dealt with immediately. We stayed for 9 nights. Very nice hotel, 10/10, ...

Other neighbourhoods around Huayuan
Nankai
The restaurants and museums are just a few things visitors like about Nankai. Drum Tower and Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium are worthwhile spots to check out, and you can hop on the metro at Tiantuo Station or Yizhongxinyiyuan Station to get around the larger area.
Wu Da Dao
Well liked for its bars and monuments, Wu Da Dao is worth a visit. Check out the variety of things to see and do like Binjiang Avenue Shopping Street and Former Residence of Gu Weijun, and jump on the metro at Xiaobailou Station to get around the city.
Heping
You might enjoy the historical sites while in Heping. Binjiang Shopping Mall is a notable sight, and you can get around town at Yingkoudao Station or Hepinglu Station to see more of the city.
Hexi
