"Lovely stay at this quite modern hotel a short walk from the main beach in Hua Hin. Room was nice and big, clean and nice modern bathroom. There’s a nice bar at the front of the hotel with good food and drink offers and lovely staff! It’s an easy walk to the beach, shops and bars/restaurants nearby as well as the night market. The pool is relatively small but very pretty, with plenty of sunbeds (in a covered area, which is nice). Great spot for a few days in Hua Hin!"
"This is a small but modern family hotel. Set on the beach next to a kitesurfing site it is south of the Hua Hin city (15 km) and in the middle of condominiums. Beautiful pool, nice restaurant on-site, and kitesurfing lessons available at the beach. The beach is gentle & great for kids. "

Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin
10/10 Excellent
"The Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin provided us with an amazing stay. We had a basic King bed accommodation with a partial ocean view. It was a wonderful place to be. This historical campus preserves its interesting past but is also kept very much up-to-date with two large pool areas and right next to the beach. The staff was incredible, and the hospitality shown was excellent. There’s even a daycare for young families. The food selection was very good and the cocktails were well made. It is also minutes walk from great places to eat, drink, or get a spa treatment in Hua Hin proper and to visit the night market. The hotel was also very secure and well-monitored it was already a safe town. "
"I stayed here on the way to and back from Kaeng Krachan National Park. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The pool and breakfast were both nice. It was a 30 minute walk to the beach and 20 to the night market. They also served beer for 60 baht, so very convenient for the pool and room."

"Stayed here for a total of 8 nights in room 15. Initially booked for 3 nights, but decided the room was good enough for a longer stay.
The room is spacious. Facilities in the the room included a settee, a fridge, kettle, chair, desk, coffee table and AC unit. The couch is comfortable with seating for 3 people. The bed has a firm mattress, 2 pillows and light duvet. There's a small corridor leading to the bathroom where there's a fridge and wardrobe. The bathroom is all tiled with a sink, toilet, geyser and electric shower unit. Liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner are also provided. The mirror is mounted high up for some reason. Unfortunately, the bathroom floor wasn't designed to direct the water towards the sinkhole.
The hotel has a garden area at the back with several tables, benches and sun loungers. Other facilities are reception/dining area where the hotel can also cook some basic Thai meals.
Location wise the hotel is in the heart of the foreigners and expat entertainment area. Everything is within walking distance including the beach, cafes, restaurants and bars. The big shopping malls probably require transport though.
Overall I had a great stay, although the rooms and facilities are basic It's clean and comfortable. The staff are great. It's hard to complain at this price.
