Cabins were clean and cozy, probably the comfiest mattress I slept on durning my trip. Each cabin had a small mini fridge and the shared bathrooms were only a 30 second walk away. Restaurant on site was good as well, friendly staff and delicious food. The waterfall is overlooks was stunning. All in all this was my favorite stay of my trip, I hope to return in the future. "

"Good and quiet. Room is not quite ready as the shampoo & shower gel had ran out and was not replaced. Otherwise, good Fosshotel level of service and rooms. Happy hour from 4-6pm, 900ISK for Gull draft beers. Wine pairing- mega pint of wine served. Haha"

"We loved our stay at the Sunset Cottage! It was one of our favorite places we stayed during our 10 days in Iceland. The cottage itself is located over a hill, several hundred meters away from the main buildings, and provides s lot of privacy. It was quiet and clean with wide open views of the countryside. We had breakfast on our last day ~$21USD/person), and it was great. We also ate at the restaurant onsite for several dinners so that we could enjoy the lovely waterfall view and delicious food. We would absolutely stay here again if in the area. "
