"Older property. Smoke free rooms still smell heavily of cigarette smoke. Walls of rooms are super thin. You will definitely hear your neighbor coughing all night. Breakfast options are more grab and go style. Felt like a safe space. Rooms were clean. "

"The guest room was very clean as was the laundry. Breakfast service was great. The front entrance of the hotel was cluttered with packages of lawn furniture. "

"Had booked our stay via hotels.com to pay on arrival. When we got there the site had already charged the card. We discovered there were no elevators. Traveling with my 88 year old mom who can’t easily climb stairs. Our room the staff told us was only offered on the 2nd floor due to using hotels.com as well as they would not refund the hotel cost . The only offer made was a main floor smoking room which smelled vile. We opted for the stairs. Luckily no falls or other trouble from that. I will also say the breakfast room has stairs as well so for the bathroom and some tables so we had to wait for a table to open. I am usually careful about looking for stairs. My mistake for assuming a hotel room that cost almost $150 did not have elevators . I will say the breakfast staff yelling at each other and complaining about the customers seemed on brand for this location. "

"Check-in was easy as well as checkout. The kitchen staff were very nice and friendly. The house cleaning staff were not friendly. Overall, the room was OK in the sense that the bed was comfortable. The shower pressure was good but the water temperature is not steady- it’s either hot or cold. There appears to be a nook in the bathroom that should be holding shelves potentially for your towels, but those are all gone, and your towels are just stacked. Unfortunately, the curtains and the lampshades had food stains on them. The seal on the window is also cracked which therefore let’s send ladybugs which I guess is not a bad thing if they do bring you good luck. The furniture in the room was ripped up in the carpet in the hallway on the fourth floor has waves in it so it’s a potential trap hazard and it’s dirty. There is a fitness center in the facility, but it’s just three pieces of equipment. That’s it. Breakfast is adequate if you don’t mind eating the same thing over and over again."

"The property worked for us bc we were trying to stay the night for a reasonable price. I thought the area the motel was located in was nice and scenic. It was an easy drive to Oaklawn and shopping /dining areas. Pros: price, location Cons: Room was dated and needing a full scrub down (walls etc). The rubber baseboards were falling down in multiple locations. The outlets located next to the bed weren’t working. There was one small bar of soap for washing hands but no shampoo/conditioner. Pool wasn’t fit to use but maybe it’s not supposed to be open this time of year. For the price it was all well worth it. Would stay again. "
