Right across from Oaklawn and walking distance to several restaurants/bars. The mattress was not super comfortable. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was pretty decent. Parking was a breeze.

This property was well-kept, clean, and close to everything we needed to get to. Just a few miles from Bath House Row. Just across the street from the Casino.

The hotel is approximately a 5 minute drive to bathhouse row. The room was clean and had a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. They provided a filling continental breakfast that was good. Great deal for our two night stay!

We chose this hotel solely for the shuttle service they offer. We were going to a show at the casino and parking far away from the facility is hard for my husband that has had two strokes. Handicap parking is always full. The shuttle took us to the facility when requested. When the show was over another couple called for shuttle service. After waiting for 45 minutes they decided to walk back to the hotel. We stayed and waited another 10 minutes. We then proceeded to walk in the dark on unsure surfaces back to the hotel. Granted it was only a couple of blocks across 2 streets…..but my husband has an unsteady walking gate. We called the hotel several times and never received an answer! The clerk told us she was away from the desk at that time.

I love that this property was so close to the national park. The breakfast was great in the mornings and the rooms were clean. The staff was super friendly and check in and out was easy.

It was a good stay. It’s within walking distance to Oaklawn and a very short drive to the historic district. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all not a bad experience.

The location to Oaklawn was amazing less than 1 block walk.. disappointed in area surrounding the hotel and Oaklawn. The bed was comfortable but the rest of room was cramped, no place to hang clothes except small hook.. The walls are paper thin, we could hear everything in our room including water running through the walls.. If all your doing is sleeping this is a good choice

The property is built with very little insulation. I could hear people above me walking very loudly every morning and throughout the night. Views were terrible. Did not have a good night sleep the whole time. The breakfast was instant powdered eggs and bad meat

No bedbugs, yay! The beds were clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered was good and hot. It was impossible to speak with a human prior to arriving. The shower was slow to drain.

The basics for a good price
We didn't know what a "Microtel" was, but gave it a try and were not disappointed. It has the basics; a comfortable bed with warm bedding, a clean bathroom with good towels, hot water and great shower, friendly and efficient staff, a basic breakfast that included fresh fruit, and ample, safe parking all for a decent price. Everything seemed fairly new in 2024. We had a good stay and will probably try Microtel again.

This was a great stay with only a couple exceptions. The pillows were too soft and the lady who was above me with high heels or boots on at 7AM Sunday morning, I only wish her shoes to burn. She only made a thousand steps or so back and forth for about 45 minutes

Not sure about next year.
The floor is insanely too thin. The people above us were just walking and it sounded like they were bouncing a ball until they went to sleep! Needless to say - we didn’t go to bed until they did but not for the lack of trying! Weekend breakfast was supposed to be from 7-9. Saturday, it wasn’t put out until 7:10. Most of our group missed that as we had to be outside at 7:20 (6 min drive to convention center). Sunday, was out right at 7. It is super convenient to Oaklawn (within walking distance). The shuttle could have been nice but we never needed it.
