"I recently stayed at Hotel Grand Santhi and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The property was unclean and poorly maintained, with visible mold and cockroaches in multiple areas. The food hygiene was unacceptable — I found dead flies in the meal that was served, and the breakfast buffet had fruits infested with ants and flies.

"The staff are very friendly. There's cheap laundry service and they help you rent a scooter for a good price. There's a nice gym on the second floor. The rooms are not very modern and clean and are a bit dark. The neighborhood isn't the best as it's in Denpasar so expect a lot of traffic and local businesses nearby. "

"Nice apartment comfortable beds. Kitchen facilities were basic no washing liquid. There was a lot of mosquitos so we had to buy mosquito spray. Staff were so helpful to help us buy dinner food, arrange for transport the next day. Everyone was friendly and kind to help us. "

"It was decent for the price, definitely last resort but not the worst. It’s in a secluded back street so it’s difficult to find sometimes. Always noisy from machines or pluming. Bring your own towels because they give old bad smelling ones. The people who work there r very nice and helpful and the wifi is great "

"Def book a pool view room. The superior deluxe rooms are not nice rooms (it’s worth the extra $18 or so a day). Fabulous pool area and away from the hustle and bustle. If you want to just chill and relax this is definitely the place to book.
If you want to be amongst it all, this property requires a taxi to get into town. It’s only approx $2.50 each way but it’s more the inconvenience of not just being able to walk out your door and be there. As the traffic is soooo bad it can take you 15 mins, sometimes more, to get into town, depending where you want to go.
My 9yo really enjoyed the pool - it is HUGE and tbh the reason why we booked this resort in the first place. Prob wouldn’t stay again because of the distance to cheap massages, shopping (if that’s your thing) and variety of eating out options without having to get taxi.
