With new COVID-19 rules and measures to follow, travel looks a little different right now. Here's what you need to know before you get on that plane to Hon Tam Island:

• Before locking in your flight, find out if any travel restrictions or bans apply — in both your origin and destination. Get up-to-date information by checking government websites.
• When you pass through airport checkpoints, do not remove your face mask. You will be required to briefly lower it for identification purposes. Travellers who refuse to wear a mask may be fined and denied entry.

• Separate any food you're carrying for screening. Food items often trigger the alarm. Putting them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA officer to touch and inspect your belongings.
