We stayed in a detached hut, which was a cool (and air conditioned) place for our family of 3.Two gorgeous pools and a lovely palapa let us cool off in the heat of the day. Delicious Yucatecan food from the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Amazing birdwatching on the property. Not much nearby except for Mayan ruins at Ake. But this lovely place IS your escape. "

"Everything in this Hacienda was so amazing, of course when you are in so much nature you have to get used to bugs and everything nature brings you. Food was amazing!! Congrats to the chef! We ran into some issues of electricity in our cenote tour and they were not prepared for it; this is the only issue we ran into."

The surroundings are simply magical, and the atmosphere feels both grounding and gently transformative. And the food… absolutely wonderful. Thoughtfully prepared, nourishing, and full of flavor, it complements the entire experience beautifully. If I had known just how special Shambalanté is, I would have stayed a full week instead of just three days. Thank you to Doris, Ricardo, and the rest of the team. I will definitely be back."

"Lety and Caesar, the owners, were wonderful hosts! Our bungalow was spotless and had everything we needed. We had an issue with our car and Lety called a mechanic for us. The homemade breakfast served outdoors under the palapa was amazing! Lety even shared her lemongrass tea she had brewed that morning. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and serene. Lovely stay!!"
