"We visited Anchorage, Denali, Fairbanks, Valdese, Seward, and homer while in Alaska. The White House in was clearly the best hotel we have stayed in. It had a big bed, a large TV, an upgraded bathroom, a large refrigerator and freezer, a great coffee machine, and microwave oven. It also had a hot tub that you could sit in and overlook The sound. "Stayed two nights in Suite #30. By far the best room in the house! Loved the private balcony overlooking the ocean. Saw bald eagles and people beach combing. Nice easy walk to the beach from the property. Beautiful landscaped grounds, amazing and friendly hosts. Can say any negatives about the place. The shared kitchen is big plus Dinning and living room are spacious. Gas grille was a plus as we cooked freshly caught halibut there. Highly recommend this place. We will be back!!"

"The owner here is very friendly and more than accomodating. When we needed to check out a day early even after taking a shower after the room had been clean, she gave a complete refund. The room was exceptionally clean and the view beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!"
