"Hotel in lovely position and first impressions were excellent. We were greeted by reception and given the key to the "keepers" shepherds hut. This was in the grounds of the hotel and although small it was perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. Toiletries and towels provided as were tea and coffee making facilities. All very welcomed. The only downside were lack of full cutlery (only one fork provided) and the hotel advertise that a Dyson Hairdryer is provided in all rooms. Obviously not the case for the shepherds hut as we only had a cheap Babyliss one. We could also have done with a t-towel and cleaning bits to wash any cups/plates as no one checks or changes these during the stay. All in all though a pleasurable stay."

"This was such a great stay. Really cute pub with amazing food and such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Everyone we interacted with was keen to know if we were happy and seemed genuinely pleased when we said we were. The room was very clean and comfortable with lots of little touches which made it extra special. We hope to come back soon!"

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast and evening meals very good and well stocked bar. Only downside was too many dogs especially when people eating."
