"The lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again. "Breakfast excellent. Lovely property and surroundings..Peaceful location with good parking including electric chargers. Friendly staff. We had an executive room in the old stable block. Very comfortable. Strong shower and water very hot. A couple of minor points that would be easy to remedy: a shelf or basket to put shampoo in rather than on the edge or the bath and a towel hook within easy reach of the shower. "
