"This lovely hotel in is one of the prettiest squares in Wells. We had an outdoor room up a fire escape because we had a dog. The rooms in the pub seemed better. The Restaurant was very small, but the food was good. "

"Beautiful rooms, all dog friendly and all have doors out to a lovely courtyard with your own table and chairs. Stayed in the Monroe room and enjoyed the roll top bath! The restaurant and food was awesome, had a great steak one night and a pork tomahawk the other. Bar area very comfortable and drinks menu and cocktails really good. Breakfast was excellent except on monday morning when the restaurant is closed and a continental breakfast arrived at our front door, really missed the cooked options!...

"The Black Lion is a lovely characterful pub with comfortable rooms. We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were pleasant and the food was delicious. Walsingham is a great place to stay with lots to see and buses running through the village to Fakenham and Wells."

"Beautiful room (we stayed in 15) loved the complimentary drink in the bar and delicious cookies in the evening. Super comfy bed and pillows. Gorgeous bathroom with huge bath and shower. The breakfast was incredible, I went for the frittata which was delicious and filling my husband the full Byford. Would definitely plan on returning soon."

At first view the outside area, easy parking and pub seating area were exactly what we had hoped, and the small but perfectly formed room was so clean, well designed and decorated. "Lovely Hotel, room was clean, bath was superb and shower, we stayed in The Lawn Rooms and they were really well equipped. Staff really friendly in The Feathers, breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend a stay at The Feathers in the centre of Holt, especially on Market Weekend!"

"A truly exceptional find this little gem of a pub hotel in a beautiful location in Norfolk. Stayed in a cabin and it was lovely, clean and well presented, the bed was very comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast options were very good we had the full breakfast which was excellent, the evening meal was delicious, the pies are out of this world. Can’t fault this pub and can’t recommend it enough. Will definitely stay there again. "
