Nanaehama
Even though there aren't top sights in Nanaehama, you can explore the larger area and take in top sights like Fort Goryokaku. Jump on the metro at Nanaehama Station to see more of the city.
Moheji
Even though there aren't top sights in Moheji, you can explore the larger area and take in top sights like Danshaku History Museum. Jump on the metro at Moheji Station to see more of the city.
Kunebetsu
When in Kunebetsu and the surrounding area, you'll want to check out sights like Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward or Hakodate Morning Market and hop on the metro to see more of the city at Kunibetsu Station or Higashi-Kunebetsu Station.
Hotel La'gent Plaza Hakodate Hokuto
Located right next to the train station in Hokuto, making it easy to take the short, local train into Hakodate or the Shinkansen to anywhere in Japan. The breakfast buffet kept us going until 6 pm.

Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Shinhakodatehokuto-eki Minami
This was a great location so that I could take the morning bullet train to tokyo. Breakfast had a good choice and I even got a free curry dinner in the evening which was delicious and an unexpected treat.
