Great stay
Just needed a place to stay the evening before departure. Ended up being much nicer than expected in a gated community. Evans took us to dinner and picked us up at The Hat and Creek (also highly recommend) and to the airport the next morning after serving us a delicious full breakfast. Propetier Josef was very nice as well.

This property was a bit farther from town than we anticipated. A car would be good. However, Evens was outstanding at helping us get around.

Good choice for Hoedspruit
A comfortable stay on a wild life estate with full security. Rooms are quite large and well appointed with all the ammenities one may need. Bathrooms also very comfortable. Service is great and the breakfasts are sublime. You need to keep in mind though that no other meals are served here and one has to go to Hoedspruit town for other meals.

We loved the Belgium Inn. Convenient location in the Wildlife Estate. Karina is a very friendly lovely lady and host. We loved our room, nice and big, big bathroom, the shower has this huge shower head, fantastic shower. Nicely decorated and very clean. Nice free soaps and lotion, not the junky stuff you normally get at hotels. We saw Guinea Fowls early in the morning from our bedroom window. It would have been nice if there was water in the water hole for the animals. The breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit not tinned fruit, two different yogurts, muesli, apple pie cake, orange juice, fresh roasted coffee, bacon, eggs and toast!!! Really nice served outside on the patio. We will be back, thanks Karina.

This was such a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were modern, and comfortable and the hosts were over the top friendly! They were great to visit with and they will drive you any where you want to go. Book here and you will not regret it!

Best value and location!
Great location to explore Hoespruit area. Carine and Jos, the owners, made us feel welcome and most comfortable. The room was clean and spacious. Food plentiful and delicious. Thank you for a great stay!

Superbe chambre d'hôtes à Hoedspruit
Très sympathique halte chez Belgium inn. Nous sommes restes une nuit et nous avons trouvé l'établissement très confortable, la chambre est spacieuse et tres bien equipee. Le domaine est securise et a proximite du parc Kruger (30 minutes). Les commerces et restaurants sont à 5 minutes en voiture ce qui est tres pratique. Tres bel accueil

Tolle Unterkunft im Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Unbedingt Zeit für eigene Erkundung der Umgebung einplanen. Sehr saubere und modern eingerichtete Zimmer mit großem Badezimmer. Unkomplizierter Check-In und Check-Out. Toller Gastgeber. Super empfehlenswert, wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Siamo arrivati in auto da Johannesburg al tramonto. La struttura si trova in un comprensorio esteso con più costruzioni molto distanti l'una dall'altra, accessibile da un posto di blocco con sbarre e guardie che registrano gli accessi in entrata e in uscita. Non è stato facile trovare il Belgium Inn. Non un'insegna illuminata, una lampada o una qualsiasi luce. Il buio totale. Ci siamo fermati a chiedere informazioni in un'abitazione dove ci hanno detto di proseguire per due chilometri. Siamo entrati nello spiazzato antistante nel buio totale, sembrava un posto abbandonato. Mi sono diretto verso l'ingresso e finalmente si è accesa una lampada ed è comparso il proprietario. Ci ha indicato la camera, consegnato le chiavi ed è sparito. Avevamo bisogno di altre indicazioni ed abbiamo dovuto cercarlo senza neppure sapere dove. Eravamo gli unici ospiti. La mattina successiva siamo entrati nella sala con i tavoli per la colazione e abbiamo chiesto al proprietario dove sederci. Dove volete ci ha risposto. Dopo due minuti è tornato da noi chiedendoci con tono seccato: cosa fate? Non serviamo la colazione, per la colazione va pagato un extra. Da notare che la prenotazione ed il prezzo pagato includevano la colazione. Non ci siamo messi a discutere e siamo stati ben contenti di andarcene da gente così indisponente. Per pochi spiccioli abbiamo fatto colazione altrove in tutta tranquillità. Sconsiglio il Belgium Inn.

Dear Guest We are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience at The Belgium Inn, however we do have to mention that you did book the option of R850 in our bed only room (now advertised seperately and called Asuite Dream) which does not include breakfast. Because there was no bookings at the main lodge the owner graciously offered for you to stay here instead of at the Room only facility, and we apologise that that caused confusion. For the rest I can only guess that there must have been a language and cultural difference because we are always friendly and courteous to our guests.

Wunderbare komfortable Untekunft, mitten in einem Tierreservat. Dort kann man zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad wilde Tiere aus nächster Nähe sehen, so z.B.Giraffen! Die Inhaber sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, man hat schnell den Eindruck dazuzugehören! Gates zum Krüger Nationalpark oder die Panoramaroute sind schnell erreichbar!

Geweldig verblijf bij Belgische eigenaars.
Geweldig verblijf bij Belgische eigenaars. Kamers zijn kraaknieuw met geweldige inloopdouche. Zeer gezellige ontvangst door eigenaar Jos, die meteen zijn tijd nam om de bezienswaardigheden en goede restaurants in de buurt uit de doeken te doen. Het ontbijt op het terras is heerlijk, de homemade omelet is een must! Het hotel ligt in een veilig omheind dierendomein waar je via een badge toegang tot krijgt, parking vóór de deur van het hotel. Bedankt Jos, wij hadden een geweldig verblijf en komen zeker terug.

très bon lodge
Suite à un séjour de 4 nuits, je recommande ce lodge Le petit déjeuner est agréable, le lodge se trouve dans un zone sécurisé, au calme. Par contre points à améliorer : un petit déjeuner à programmer à 6h00 ou 6h30 afin de gagner du temps sur le trajet du parc Le propriétaire est d'un professionnalisme et d'une gentillesse irréprochable. NEW but South African charm missing
New but Noise road close by. We booked it because of the very good revievs AND the restaurant, which did not exist- wife was in Europe. We were offered Transport but had to pay 100 ZAR for each 5min trip. Noise from owner and breakfast area in the morning. Bed was shaking when one turned. Very new and beautiful bathroom. Good tips for excursions.

Auf dem Weg vom Blyde River Canyon zum Kruger Park waren wir eine Nacht im The Belgium Inn. Das Haus, die Zimmer, kurz alles ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Sehr sauber. Die Eigentümer sind angenehm freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr sympathisch. Es gab ein überaus leckeres Frühstück. WiFi funktionierte einwandfrei. Uns gefiel es sehr gut und zu beanstanden gibt es überhaupt nichts. Eine Nacht dort ist zuwenig Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen und würden dort wieder übernachten.

Uneingeschränktes volles Lob für alles!!!
Nach einem herzlichen Empfang mit Begrüßungsdrink fühlten wir uns richtig gut aufgehoben. Zimmer und Bad sowie das ganze Haus zeigten die liebevolle Handschrift der Besitzer, alles war natürlich peinlichst rein und sauber. Jos und Carin sorgten für eine familiäre Atmosphäre und unterstützten uns bei Routenplanung und Restaurant Auswahl. Zweimal konnten wir Carins Kochkunst am Abend genießen. Ebenso köstlich war das Frühstück auf der Terrasse. Von der Lodge aus konnten wir leicht die Panoramaroute und das Olten Gate des Krüger Parks erreichen. Abschließend ein überaus herzliches Lob den beiden. Vielen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft.

Ansprechendes Haus, nette Besitzer, sehr gute Lage
Das Belgium Inn liegt mitten in einem kleinen Game Park (Wildlife Estate) in Hoedspruit. Es ist ein ganz neues, gerade fertig gestelltes Haus und ist überaus liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die belgischen Besitzer Carine und Jos haben es selbst gestaltet und einfach an alles gedacht. Wir hatten ein hübsches Zimmer mit einem großen und schönen Badezimmer und direktem Zugang zur Terrasse (die rund um das Haus geht). Das Wlan funktionierte überall tadellos. Das Frühstück war ausladend und mit Liebe hergerichtet. Leute, die eher wenig frühstücken, sollten rechtzeitig bei den Gastgebern Bescheid sagen. Im Ort Hoedspruit wurden uns von Jos verschiedene Möglichkeiten für ein Abendessen empfohlen, aber von unseren drei Abenden haben wir nur einmal  auswärts gegessen. An den anderen beiden Abenden haben wir äußerst schmackhaft und günstig im Belgium Inn gespeist. Carine ist eine sehr gute Köchin. Die Besitzer tun alles, damit man sich gut aufgehoben und rundum wohlfühlt. Die Lage in Hoedspruit ist sehr gut um z.B. Krüger Park, Blyde River Canyon, Mariepskop (toller Tipp von Carine), HESC (sehr empfehlenswert), Jessica the Hippo, Moholoholo, und vieles mehr zu besuchen. Das Belgium Inn ist absolut empfehlenswert.
