"This was the 2nd time I have stayed here - for three nights on this occasion. The decor of the front bedroom, with its beautiful curtains and 4-poster bed is delightful and comfortable and the room where one can have a glass of port (gratis) is charming. My only sadness was that the fabulous breakfasts provided by the previous owners was no longer available, but the self-service “continental” breakfast was perfectly adequate."

"We enjoyed the entire complex in that the staff were completely attentive, the rooms were clean we had a place to cook in our room as dining in hobart is expensive even pubs and it was quiet and best of all clean comfortable beds. Not too hard not too soft just right. Well done st ives of battery point."
