Hotel was in a great location in district 1 short walk to markets & walking street. The hotel was very clean had everything we needed great coffee across the road. Happy Life Grand Hotel enjoys an excellent central location in Ho Chi Minh City that makes everything feel convenient and easy. It is close to several popular local café brands, the metro, and nearby massage shops, which is perfect for both work and relaxation. The convenient surroundings save a lot of time during busy business trips. Because of this ideal location and overall comfort, this is the hotel I always choose to return to whenever I travel to Ho Chi Minh City for work.

We had a wonderful stay at Happy Life Grand. The room was clean and super comfy. The location was a big plus, i can easily get around and explore the city. We also spent an evening at their sky bar, good cocktails, great ambience, and city views were fantastic. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Ho Chi Minh city.

The staff is attentive and the breakfast spread is good. Omelette bar is big positive. My flight landed in early and had to wait for a room for a few hours. But, after that it was a pleasant stay. Hotel is in the main area. That's a huge positive.

Staff was really kind and went out of their way to make stay welcoming. I think this was to compensate for the hotel being older. Pool is not very useful unless you just want to sit in water. The water will only come to your knees. Breakfast had a decent selection and was one of the more positive highlights. Bed is a little firm and could creak. It’s an ok hotel and adequate for the one night I stayed but I think better value could be found elsewhere.

Great place , unfortunately we had a group of male tourists from India being loud and disrespectful to guests and staff. The staff where amazing trying to deal with there awfully loud and rude behaviour, the next day they up graded our room away from the unruly tourists. This place is a great location near the famous vegetarian restaurant Rau Oi , the happy life staff are amazing ❤️Trixie ❤️Allison ❤️Ruby❤️Sunny all stand out service by many others I didn’t get the names from the gentleman at the front door all of reception and kitchen and room cleaning 😊, awesome comfortable rooms and the best staff we have had in a long time , highly recommend as a great place to stay Breakfast is awesome and a relaxing pool 😊

My family of four stayed for 10 days. Granted we were all adults. Our room was a little run down but they were amazing with accommodating us with a change in circumstances from one bed to two beds in the same room. There was quite a bit of noise on the ground floor rooms with ours sounding like someone was constantly running a shower or a hot water tank boiling from early hours in the morning, however, the walls are paper thin. The rooftop pool was fantastic and a real bonus especially with the view as well as towels provided. The hotel is close enough as in walking distance to get to eating establishments and markets. I didn’t try the breakfast but it’s great that they offered it. A great space out the front of the hotel if you are a smoker or just want to chill out the front to see what’s going on and it is cleaned frequently. Overall, a great place to stay and we enjoyed it.

Super friendly, attentive, respectful, and professional staff. The room is a bit small, and the window is too tiny to enjoy the city view, but the service is excellent—everyone from the doorman to the receptionist to the cleaning staff and kitchen staff. The staff is very helpful, polite, and professional. A big shout-out to Jade. She is patient and kind. I’ve watched her greet everyone with a smile. She makes you feel welcome and happy. Another big shout-out to Mr. Tan. He greets everyone at the door and helps with their luggage, all with a smile. He even makes small talk and makes you feel welcome Thank you for the lovely room decorations to celebrate our 29th anniversary. All HAPPY LIFE staff deserve a 5-star rating.

Happy Life Hotel is located in District 1 of Saigon, making it a great and convenient location for exploring the city. The entrance is cute and cozy, and the staff are very friendly with great service. The room is small but clean and comfortable. The only thing we were unhappy with was the bathroom shower. Every time we used the shower, water would run onto the bathroom floor and almost flood it. We had to use several towels to prevent the water from running out through the bathroom door. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the shower drainage definitely needs to be improved.

We were given bananas as a welcome amenity, and since we didn't request room cleaning, I had placed the empty plate and fork out in the hallway on the first day. I assumed a housekeeper had naturally picked it up. Although they didn't charge me for it in the end, the whole situation left a bitter taste in my mouth.
