We were lucky enough to be the only guests so we had our own breakfast buffet which was excellent & also Elisabeth cooked us a delicious evening meal for when we arrived."

Also no kitchen facilities - essential if you call yourself a hostel and showers in the basement through the pub no great situation.

Shared kitchen was fully equipped. Spacious room but there was a stain in the ceiling which could be potentially a leak upstairs, hopefully they will fix it. "Beautiful 2 night stay at the Historical house for our family of four. Conveniently located in a charming setting with walkable surroundings. Good option as home base for day trip to Húsavík just an hour away. Was spacious and had everything we needed. Also close to delicious Brynja ice cream shop!"

"I stayed at the hotel for a few days after being released from the hospital after surgery on a broken ankle.
