"Lovely place right in the downtown area. Had everything we needed for our stay. Kids loved the loft and getting to climb the latter just be cautious as it is steep!! Great place we enjoyed! "
"Beautiful 2 night stay at the Historical house for our family of four. Conveniently located in a charming setting with walkable surroundings. Good option as home base for day trip to Húsavík just an hour away. Was spacious and had everything we needed. Also close to delicious Brynja ice cream shop!"

"We booked this property last minute due to a road washout on the ring road in the direction we were supposed to go. Was a pretty good room, lots of options for food close by, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Only downside was lots of noise from traffic and people, but that's to be expected in downtown."

"Good location, walkable distance to restaurants and city center. Limited parking could be a problem for late check ins. Door codes were convenient, easy check in and entry. Shared kitchen was fully equipped. Spacious room but there was a stain in the ceiling which could be potentially a leak upstairs, hopefully they will fix it. The shower was a bit small, the curtain wraps around you when it gets wet. Plastic shower curtain might be a better fit. Good stay in general, spacious room. Laundry facility would be a great idea since the area has only one commercial laundry."
