"This hotel is so excellently located and they have free Nespresso coffee (and tea) in the lobby! They also have coin laundry in the lobby so you can do your laundry very conveniently and cheaply. They boast of a starlight Jacuzzi on the 10th floor, but only one was operating out of five total although I only needed one so it worked fine. HOTEL GRANVIA HIROSHIMA SOUTH GATE

HOTEL GRANVIA HIROSHIMA SOUTH GATE

10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was beyond what we imagined and it exceeded many of our expectations. First of all it’s in the Hiroshima train station and we rode the Shinkansen to get there and easy access to the bus at the North entrance because we utilize the JR Kansai-Hiroshima 5 day Area Pass. So Easy and very convenient to commute to our destinations and attractions because we were within the vicinity. The train station has a lot of restaurants, shops, movie theater, etc. The hotel was beautiful and one of the best breakfasts we had in Japan. They also have free flow which the restaurant provides drinks and snacks 2x in the evening between 3-6 pm and 9-10 pm if your plan comes with it. All the staff was welcoming with a wonderful and kind hospitality. No onsen but our room had the shower and tub combo and I was able to do a bath every night which was so relaxing after a day of exploring. Another plus was the toilet was separate from the bath, makes getting ready more efficient when traveling with someone…in my case, my husband. Effortless luggage transfers and the staff was very accommodating and filled out our paperwork and even called the next hotel to confirm reservation to verify our belongings went to the right place. The observation deck was a plus where we hung out on our first night to take in the city’s skyline and enjoyed the view. Overall love this hotel and will definitely book another stay with them when I visit on the future."
