The room was clean and spacious. Excellent location for dining and shopping. Nearby area had many Sakura trees. Walking distance 30 min to Hirosaki Castle and Hirosaki Park with access to shopping and clubs. Steps to buses to the castle and park. We would stay there again

Toyoko Inn Hirosaki Ekimae
The beds were rock hard and felt like sleeping on concrete and overall extremely uncomfortable (and I like firm beds). Also, the staff was not flexible with early check in before 3pm so we had to sit and wait 45 minutes even though rooms were empty and clean, despite checking with 3 different staff ...
