"Staff was great and the hostel overall is really nice they were accommodating when it came to storing my insulin in the fridge and keeping my ice packs in the freezer. I will say some of the area seems a bit sketch (I saw a guy get jumped) and it’s a bit out of the way from the central part of the city"

"Great people, great amenities, easy to get to/from by Amsterdam Centraal station. Beds were comfortable, no privacy curtains but didn’t mind. In room shower was a little cramped but reasonable all things considered. Would stay again!"

"I stayed in a deluxe king room , and it felt very much like a hotel. It was clean, the facilities were clean. It’s right next to a beautiful park. Not very close to the city centre, but taking the tram was fairly easy & it’s close by. The only negatives : check in was at 2pm, and my room wasn’t ready until almost 6pm. Also, if there was daily housekeeping , it was not very apparent they were there. "

"Great location and there’s a really big safe/lock box for each person under the bed - bring your own lock! Everything was super clean too. My only problem was how long the check in process took since there were only two people at the front desk and they worked very slowly"

"Nice property in the heart of the red district. Your are literally in the red district. You will hear people walking in the middle night . Didn’t bother me actually it adds to its appeal . But it’s just me .Budget friendly. Rooms and bathrooms are up to date. If this is the kind of accommodation fits your taste and budget Not a bad place to stay just know what your getting . I saw more mature / older people in this hostel. "

"Really really good value for money. We had our room upgraded on arrival. Clean and in good condition. Only thing I’d change is being able to buy a hot drink in the evening. They stop serving these after a certain time. Also not allowed to take hot drinks back to the room."

"You're literally right next to the Reijksmuseum among other attractions. It's a cheap room to pass out in after a day of doing the actual fun stuff. "

"DO NOT STAY HERE. Worst hotel experience of my life. Upon check in at the Kebab Shop (don't ask), we were taken to a neighbouring building, a building being used to house carwash workers. We were then taken through the workers living room, through scary corridors, into a dump of a room. Toilets/showers were disgusting, with used razors being left around, along with other gross toiletries. We knew this was one of the cheaper places to stay but I can't believe how bad it really was. It was like...

"Lovely place with a great sized room and very easy to commute to and from into Amsterdam. Good set of amenities! Very easy to go upstairs and grab food or drinks too if you want. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. For 3 guests in one room, a nice touch would be a small chest of drawers somewhere maybe for clothes. "

"Staff was the most accommodating of any hotel we stayed in. We had to leave early to catch a bus and requested a take away breakfast. Not only did they prepare a substantial take away meal, they opened early to allow us a hot meal before we left and also gave us the breakfast which served as another meal for our journey. So friendly and accommodating. "
