"We had a beautiful stay at this hotel. The property is gorgeous, the views are breathtaking, and the beach is absolutely beautiful. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. My only wish is that there had been more entertainment at night. The shows they did have were enjoyable, but after the shows there wasn’t much to they had everyone at one bar location to listen to karaoke or listen to local singers come in. The biggest disappointment was the food. I would rate it a 3 out of 10. It was very hit or miss—many dishes were cold, lacked flavor, and the buffet selection was limited. The seafood was the exception and was actually very good. They have 3 restaurants to reserve and the food was very mediocre at best. Overall, the hotel itself, the beach, and the excellent staff made for a great vacation, but the food and limited evening entertainment could definitely be improved."

"The property even though it’s old is maintained good the staff was very nice really like the food at la cevicheria it was awesome the head person very good the asian restaurant good but the worst was the buffet it’s very poor in food quality and is lacking on food choices breakfast was the same food every day dinner was worst only for this I would think on going back"

"The location of the resort was perfect, about a 5–10 minute walk to the Malecon that had a bunch of stores on the way and a market for souvenir shopping. The double bed room was perfect for two people and very spacious. Although we did not have a balcony or view of the ocean, the view out to the street was still nice just very noisy with all the cars driving by. The buffet had a wide variety of foods and was delicious, but the restaurant you had to make reservations for had a very selective menu that didn’t have many good options. There was an open area in the lobby with seating and a lobby bar to relax outside of your room. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and Puerto Vallarta is beautiful!"

"The hotel is beyond incredible , located in a hill in the middle of the jungle with so many beautiful pools, an amazing lazy river and a very fun water slide where my kids spent hours on end. The staff is amazing. They always had a big smile on their face and always going above and beyond to help. Our pictures came out incredible, looking like a resort out of a movie. Our setbacks were the food - not that many restaurants where most of them were offering the same thing. It seems like they had good intentions about food but poorly executed. Breakfast and dinner were buffet style food every day, where everything was cold-warm at the most and bland. Nothing in either of the restaurants was great, they were just okay at most, except the Teppanyaki style one. This one was really good but without AC - brutal! The second thing was that the walls are extremely thin and you could hear everything - literally. Something we never had experienced before. At times you would think that they were inside the room with you. Our neighbor sneezed, we said bless you just joking and she answered thank you as if we were in the same room. But the worse thing was that our neighbors had a dog (didn’t know it was pet friendly) so the dog barked all the time. Was not planning on going on a relaxing vacation to be hearing a dog all the time - very annoying. It would be best if they had either a floor solely for guests with pets or even a whole section for them. Would go back for the scenery, not the food"

"Overall the my hold experience was superb. The staff was helpful in every aspect of the property. The Restuarants Chefs and Staff went out, and cook and served what ever order do to diateries health. The food was delicious. Bar tender prepare cocktails to my libation list. The specialties restuarant are phenomenal I highly recommend."
