"The hotel was lovely, great location. Staff friendly however it was noisy! There was a function in the hotel and I could hear the loud music in my room on second floor. In the morning the cleaning staff were also noisy in the corridor shouting to each other"

"Stayed in a standard twin room. Good value for the price. Great spa facilities included (pool open till 10pm and spa till 9.30pm) in price of room. Breakfast pretty good but can't comment on 'full English' type as we're veggie, but the poached eggs on toast were excellent. Friendly staff throughout."

"Lovely staff, very good breakfast and choice. The room had a strange smell (possibly from newish carpet?) Staff provided air fresheners immediately and all was good. Parking is great at £4 for the night. All in all, an enjoyable stay and would definitely return."

"we stayed there a few years ago so thought it would be good. alas it's is no longer well maintained. it's definitely in decline. no information about the restaurant side. when o left to go out o had to use the side door as there was a key pad to main door but no information on what number to use"

"I didn't use parking because I came by train. Breakfast is ok but room cleaning bad. It's proper cleans room, chocolate rappers and peanuts mess already on floor when I entered in room first day after check in. I complained to reception but lady was standing this time, she said sorry and nothing else. She had to change my room or can refund 20% discount but she didn't."
