The COVID-19 outbreak has changed the world in all sorts of ways, including how and where we're able to travel. The following tips will help you better understand these new challenges and get you ready for your flight to High Tatras:

• Research what, if any, restrictions or rules apply to both your origin and destination. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so check government advisories before booking.
• You must wear a face mask at the airport, including at security checkpoints. Be ready to lower your mask for ID verification when asked.
• Instead of handing a TSA employee your boarding pass, place it directly on the reader yourself. Once that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• TSA is now permitting passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on baggage. This will need to be removed from your bag at the X-ray machine for screening.
• To reduce handling during the screening process, place personal items such as your keys, wallet, phone and belt into your carry-on instead of the bins.
• If you're taking food through the security checkpoint, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA agent will need to handle your food container or carry-on bag for closer inspection.
