"You get what you pay for. Bare bones amenities: shampoo and conditioner; no coffee in room; elevator broken which may or may not get fixed; and the toilet leaked, fortunately not in a used space. It appears that the place is being remodeled so it may be better in the future. If you only need an inexpensive place to sleep a few minutes from the airport, go for it!"
"Very out dated. Smelled like smoke and they tried to cover it up. “Continental breakfast” was literally terrible coffee with granola bar or gold fish crackers. Asked for an additional pillow and was told “we don’t have any”."
Hilton Vacation Club The Historic Powhatan Williamsburg
8/10 Good
"We have been visiting this resort for a while now. We enjoy the grounds and having full kitchen. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen are always clean. The few things that needs to be addressed are the very strong cleaning chemical scent in the rooms. The rooms usually need an hour with windows open and fans on full power to make the smell disappear. I am usually not sensitive to this but those who are needs to be aware of this. The coffee shop is open very inconsistently however the restaurant offers a variety of options.
Our last visit the stove and microwave was broken but we only stayed a night we didn't mind.
There is washer and dryer in the apartment if needed. They also supply detergents (dish and laundry). Overall, we love Powhatan resort."
"We stayed for two nights, only used the coffee machine in the lobby. But the rooms are very nice, very convenient, including parking right in front, convenient location, woodsy setting with little noise, everything was comfortable."
"The hotel was nice and clean. It is only about 18 months old. Everything in the room was great. The only issue is there is no airport shuttle service. Otherwise it was a good stay."
"Excellent experience for my family. I think my only complaint would be that you have to pay for parking even staying at the lodge. Other than that, it was alittle pricey, but expected! Excellent families with young ones! Five stars from me regardless!"
