Great location, good sized room with a kitchenette which is convenient. It wasn’t what we were expecting; I wouldn’t describe it as luxury. The place could use a few updates: there were stains on the couch, the fireplace didn’t work, the audio system wasn’t usable without a cable which wasn’t present. There were no amenities for the spa which was a shame as it’s a good way to entice people to buy more products - it could be for purchase, give people the option! The bath was difficult to get in and out of and needed a step in as the sides were so high. The blackout curtains aren’t full blackout and a lot of light streams through from the night lights outside and in the morning. If you stay in one of the ground floor villas, be aware that you can hear those at the top walking up and down. I wouldn’t stay here again at that cost, it just wasn’t value for money. Much like staying in an Airbnb but no extra little touches that make a stay memorable.

The price for the room should include access to pool shouldn't have to pay $58 each for an hour and half visit. Not many staff. Very loud neighbours thumping above us all night.

There was reception in the resort, you had to go to the Spa Mineral side, and then no information about how to contact anyone for after hours assistance. Housekeeping items were low. No steak knives, no tissues, lights above beds hanging a bit loosely. Needs some maintenance. Not walkable to anywhere except the mineral spa pool.

What a lovely place to stay so peaceful and quiet very close to the bathing house and a easy drive to Daylesford, plenty of places to eat and some nice walks too.

What a treat. This retreat has everything you need for a truly restful and relaxing stay. The enormous jetted tub, gas fireplace and cosy yet clean and minimalist furnishings made for a heavenly few days.

The retreat was perfect. It had everything we needed for a lovely get away, even a welcome basket which was greatly appreciated and walking distance to the mineral springs. Would highly recommend !!!!

The villa was lovely, and located very close to all of the sights that my partner and I were there to enjoy. The only downside was that despite the welcome book stating there was access to Foxtel, there didn't appear to be a remote available for this purpose. There also was no aerial connected to the TV in the bed area. We had a somewhat uncomfortable experience with the amount of flies that gained access to the villa, however were very grateful for the can of Raid included with the room. Overall we had a lovely weekend and would be happy to stay here again.

5 star hotel badly maintained
From the exterior, the villa looks good and even upon entering seeing the private jacuzzi feels good but once we start staying there, we find the place very poorly maintained. The light at our living was not working, the workman came with his boots on and step all over the carpet and floor. The jacuzzi in our room has a hole on the side cover by a foam board! This is supposedly a 5 star hotel, it is quite unacceptable! There is no staff to ask if our stay was good or not, the whole place is just managed by a staff who is the spa. It is very disappointing.

Romantic Get Away
My partner and I enjoyed a lovely stay. Really quiet, romantic and private. We loved the massive hot-tub!!! Would absolutely stay here again.

Just a few problems with broken blinds and lack of tile strips and finishes. Broken blinds over bathing and showering area therefore should have been fixed before occupancy. As the broken pieces were on floor the staff would have been fully cognisant of these problems.

Modern apartment that could have been far more worthy of its nightly rate if the rooms were serviced each day, the spa plug didn't leak causing water to spray across the room and heater in the spa worked. Quite a bit of mould in the shower that could be tended to. Foxtel did not work and when we arrived the room was like an ice box and we didn't want to get undressed to have a shower.

Property was a bit run down, some minor imperfections and items missing from kitchen making it difficult to cook on premise. Cleanliness of bathroom was a major issue, and housekeeping simply didn’t attend during our stay. In fact, we had to call and enquire about services, (unfortunate, as housekeeping is advertised as part of your stay) and request extra towels for our two night stay. Initially I was asked to pick up extra towels from reception, (a short walk over the road) and in the end they were unceremoniously dropped off, without collecting used towels and linens. Calling reception and the day spa was difficult, with wait times exceeding 10 mins or the phone just rang out. The Foxtel didn’t work for our first night and a nice manager did turn up late in the day to fix but the clearly worn out nature of the wiring was evident from the lack of test and tag signs on any of the electrical equipment. The microwave needs a clean and the pillows and throw cushions had stains on them. The kitchen wear needs replacing and the frying pan in particular was a very cheap and wobbly one. This could be a luxury stay with some simple investment in clean linen, pillow protectors, towels that had a semblance of softness along with kitchen equipment fit for purpose and a sense of cohesion between the spa and accommodation team. This could be, and maybe once was, so much more.

The room was lovely. A few maintenance issues ( wobbly coffee table, light bulbs blown), but no big deal. The lack of wardrobe space was most disappointing.

NEVER AGAIN, APPALLING MGMT
Last week when we arrived to check-in, the accommodation was CLOSED at check-in. There was nobody there, even though someone left us a message confirming our reservation the hr before we arrived. Anyway, we finally saw a guy in reception behind closed doors doing some maintenance. I mean, this was just ridiculous . So then we get to our room: Absolutely arctic cold. Luckily, a maintenance guy was kind enough to come and help us . The heating wasn't working, but he fixed it. Remote control broken in half. No TV service. He fixed that too. Dead bugs all over the floor. We had a shower and the entire room had flooded . I had a dead moth on the pillow of my bed. We had a terribly bad experience and will never return , so disappointing. Don't be fooled by fancy pictures online. Have tried calling & email them several times to complain, zero response.

Property lacked basic necessities for cooking. Aircon was on max but the room was not cool enough. As a spa resort we wished for complimentary bath essentials at the least consider the price you pay. The only complimentary product was milk, which was expired. Overall disappointing.

It was set out lovely. Nice and peaceful but it wasn’t very clean. Very dusty and there was a cockroach and mould in the cupboard. I read other reviews about the mould and cockroach that were done a while ago. It obviously they don’t bother looking at the feedback. Definitely not worth the money I paid.

Beautifully presented accomodation in an excellent location. Staff at check-in were super friendly and efficient. Incredibly comfortable bed and dazzling clean bed linen and towels. A definite return for us.

The rooms themselves were comfy and in general fairly tidy. However they were a bit dusty. A few issues which should definitely not have been there especially when paying in excess of $300 per night. The bathroom sink was blocked, the shower handle came off when used, the spa tap was loose and the caulking in the spa was coming apart, block out blinds offer little blockout from the morning light which stopped us having a good sleep in. They may be all small things but all of this detracts from the feeling of being in a luxurious space. The location is fantastic being minutes away from all the shops spas restaurants and waterfalls etc yet far enough to be hidden from any local traffic.

It was a stylish looking place and the lady who checked us in was nice. However for a luxury hotel it was a massive letdown. First no wifi which we found out by a rude lady when we called to get assistance when it didn’t work. Foxtel wouldn’t work unless bedroom closet was open. The spa kept sucking water from the jets at a time quick rate, while we were in it which never happened with any spas I’ve even been in before. The fireplace looked like a stove top that never switches off I was worried to sleep as we didn’t touch this and actually tried to hit switch off. The hanging lights in the bedroom were pulled from ceiling and hanging by a thread. The pillows were dirty. The table in the lounge was wobbly when we picked the remote up were worried it would collapse! The lights on the steps were missing a piece of protective plastic cover, one of the hanging lights in the bathroom was dead. There was a horrible whistling in the night from the spa I think which I couldn’t sleep well. The outside light was not working which is dangerous since we were on the second floor and needed to go up and down steps. Lastly the kitchen was filthy!!! The stove didn’t look like it had been cleaned in months. For a supposide luxury experience I can say having stayed in MANY 5 star hotels this doesn’t come close to any of them. I’ve stayed in shared accomodation with cleaner rooms with better maintainance.

Arrived and told key was missing so come back after 3pm. Got key at 3.20pm. Villa had wardrobe door broken off hinges. Room was filthy and covered in an inch of dust. Wifi and Foxtel not working. Towels smelt of cooking fat. Was disgusting. I rang the number provided for assistance and no one picked up so I then sent photos to a mobile after hours number and whilst we were out somebody came in and fixed wardrobe and dusted. I paid $540 a night for this. So disappointing and I will be contacting the ombudsman for a return of my money.

Nice retreat with SPA and double showers but some lights/ bubbles are not working in the accommodation and few faulty facilities hadn't fixed.

Great place to stay
The apartment was great, very comfortable and great spa bath bath and showers. Views were amazing as well. Only problem was the WiFi didn't work and the cable channels on the TV didn't work but only minor issues.
