Highly recommended
Lovely clean and fresh accommodation, comfortable bed, smart tv, power shower. Fabulous location for walking SW a coastal path. Breakfast was good, the pub menu was a bit limited, but did offer several vegetarian dishes as well. Vanessa was a friendly host, highly recommended, would definitely go back.

Great little pub stay in rural Cornwall
Stayed here for a night with family on a short trip to Cornwall. The rooms look recently refurbished / opened and are really nice, with comfortable beds - good shower and very clean. The pub itself is very friendly we had a really nice evening supper and breakfast was good. There is a pretty little cove on the doorstep with a pebble beach which also doubles as a car park.

The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and very comfortable, as was the upstairs area. Staff were very friendly. Unlike the rest of the inn, the restaurant area which was newly built, was quite cold and lacking any character, The food was well cooked and plentiful, but don't expect restaurant standard food, it is just good quality pub grub. One minor niggle is the amount of noise in the evening, going on well past 11pm - we were in Pralla, which had great sea views but was at front of the inn. We would stay there again, but our expectations will be a little more realistic.
