"Stayed at The Black Swan for an overnight trip. Location excellent, lovely walks from the door. Took our dog, were provided with a room close to an outside door which was great. Room very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Quiet room. Staff at the hotel were lovely and made us feel welcome. ..."

Visited the Arts Centre which was an excellent venue for a folk concert. Helmsley is a great place for food shopping and a very convenient base for walking etc.
