"I was quite pleased with my stay here. It was perfect and economical for my purposes. The staff person was quite nice and helpful, and while the front is not open all the time, it's easy to get in and out. It isn't a town that is open all hours, so don't expect to eat late at night, but it's definitely charming and the hotel was a part of that!"

"In such high altitude, with the vanishing winter and melting snow, there are really a lot to explore in oberhof. The stay at the hotel was excellent and authentic. The breakfast has many variations everyday, the fruits and vegetables were really very fresh. The staffs were well behaved and have showed good hospitality. "The hotel stay was pleasant. Very clean, convenient free parking right at the hotel, breakfast was plenty. Optional dinner on most days. You can start your hikes right at the hotel. I liked the guest kitchen with microwave, coffeemaker and filled refrigerator. The hotel takes the risk counting on honest guests. I really felt good about it.
