"Parking was easy, however you might have to struggle against hikers parking there for the trek to Wartburg Castle. Highlights are the killer views of the valley & of Wartburg perched on the opposing hill from the cafe, and the wonderful breakfast that comes with the booking. It was an excellent spread. Well done. The rooms are small and the bathrooms even smaller. But clean."

"Our room was very small and very basic. The was soft and comfortable. Staff friendly. Nice touch was the fridge with refreshments (beer ,whine etc available based on honor system, which was a very nice touch. Prices very reasonably. We didn’t use it as we had our own supplies (large grocery store right next door). The biggest surprise was the breakfast, which was included in the price. There was so much to choose from and all very fresh and tasty. We would definitely return but perhaps ask for bigger room if available. "
