"We had a fantastic stay at PLAZA Premium Almere during our Netherlands trip. We booked the family room with two twin beds and one sofa bed, which was comfortable for our family of four. The breakfast was good, and the hotel also has self-service laundry facilities and a nice restaurant.
The biggest advantage is the location. The hotel is in the heart of Almere, with supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping all within walking distance. Almere itself is a peaceful and modern town worth exploring.
The Almere Centrum railway station is just a 2–3 minute walk away. Intercity trains reach Amsterdam Centraal in about 20–25 minutes, making it easy to explore Amsterdam and nearby attractions. During our stay, we comfortably visited Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, and Giethoorn with our 2-year-old.
A useful tip: each traveler should have their own contactless credit/debit card to tap in and tap out on trains, buses, trams, and metro.
The hotel also extended our checkout to 12 PM for only €10, which made our departure much more convenient.
Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and connectivity. If you’re traveling with family and prefer a peaceful neighborhood with easy access to Amsterdam and other Dutch attractions, I highly recommend staying here."
