"A very friendly welcome but I was disappointed with a rather tired looking room at the back of the hotel. Having said that it was fine and comfortable enough. Large bathroom. The view at the front is lovely and it was nice to view that from the hotel garden. I had to leave before breakfast so I was provided with a nice packed lunch instead which was ready for me to collect. Very helpful. I think a few thousand pounds would be useful to spruce it up a bit! I think i paid way over the odds booking...

"The stay as a whole was very pleasant. The room, clean, the decor, very nice. My only 'gripe', is that the water pressure for the shower was terrible. I felt I had to run around in the shower to get wet. It was little more than a dribble and I felt I had to stand with my nose against the wall to get under the water. I took ages to have a wash!"

"Excellant property, quiet room, good location. Mini marts with everything you need across the street (& a few offerings sold in the lobby) I didnt eat breakfast with the hotel or use the ammenities. Note laundry on site now works...Hotel.com needs to update this on their site "
