"The hotel and service were impeccable. The Concierge/Doormen were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room decor was not exactly my taste, it felt a bit tacky - not sure if it was a connection to the buildings history or a nod to the neighbourhood but without explanation it felt a bit cheap."

"I read reviews, good and bad before we came and it’s all true. The hotel is on a street with strip clubs and casinos and the alley way to the hotel from the street felt unsafe (drunk/ drugged groups of people every time we walked through) and there’s no security in the hotel - you don’t need a key card to go in the lift or corridors.
BUT once you’re in the hotel it’s great! Friendly staff, clean, spacious room and delicious breakfast. It’s also a great location near the main station. I haven’t knocked a star off for the shady street and would stay there again."

"We were upgraded to a beautiful suite for being hotels.com silver members. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was serene and relaxing and beautiful. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful and everyone was very kind. Will definitely stay here again except for longer next time!"
