We booked very last minute as the hotel we were in was terrible. So found this place, got there late on Sunday, the man in reception was very kind. Gave me clear instructions on parking etc Room was awesome.

Absolutely beautiful and clean facility. The staff was great! We booked a room which had three areas: the bathroom, the sleeping area, and a lofted sitting area. Strong wifi, attached Restaurant and bar, parking garage, and the bus stops right out front. It’s an easy walk to the Altstadt. It was also great because our room had AC!! (Kind of rare and we were very glad as it was 95° / 30°). I would definitely stay here again.

Nice Hotel. Very modern behind the historic facade. The side/alley facade is mostly glass. The man at reception was so nice: showed us to our room, taught us how to use the AC and set it to cool the room while we went out during a hot day. AC works very well. It was easy to reach by car using Google maps. Paid parking on a lower floor was easy. The garage is reached using the alley to the left of building.

We absolutely loved this stay! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The property was beautiful and so close to everything. On site parking was perfect. Our room was immaculate. This is a great find in Heidelberg. We walked up the mountain to the castle and rode the funicular down. It was about 5 blocks from the hotel. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

The room and property were very nice. When we checked in we were told where the breakfast was severed. What we weren't told was that breakfast was an extra charge. No notice on the tables either. The breakfast presented was microscopic. A couple of mini plates of bread and cold cuts/fruit/vegetables. Really a minimalist presentation. We were told we could order other items but again no menu selection. Then getting gouged on the price of this breakfast was very disappointing. Would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone.

When you made your booking, the price was stated for breakfast. Unfortunately, it is not our fault that you have not read this, especially as all other guests manage to do so. Transferring your problem to us is cheeky, as is your review.We like to accommodate guests who know that a service in a hotel also costs something and is not free. We hope you are feeling better now. We are sure you will find another hotel.

What an amazing property! Front desk staff go above and beyond by helping plan out activities to showing you around the property. The room was very clean, cozy, warm with everything you need. The rooms are unique.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Arthotel in Heidelberg. Tom, the general manager, was super helpful and courteous. The hotel was clean, AC worked great and the location was in the heart of the Altstadt. We give this hotel the thumbs up and a 5 star rating. Will definitely stay there again.

Hôtel aménagé de manière moderne et fonctionnelle, grande chambre, climatisée, SdB très belle et confortable avec douche et baignoire. Lit confortable. Equipé a l’Allemande de couettes bien trop chaudes. Petit déjeuner très copieux (payant). WiFi gratuit capricieux le soir. Garage payant très pratique. Personnel très agréable. Situation géographique parfaite: tout à pied ! L’accès à quelques chambres nécessite quelques marches.

Jähliches Treffen im Arthotel
Wir treffen uns seit 3 Jahren in Heidelberg mit Freunden. Das Hotel ist im Zentrum der Altstadt und gut erreichbar. Mit eigenem Parkplatz. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Tolles Flair im ganzen Haus: die alte Gebäudehülle wurde erhalten aber total ausgehöhlt und modern aber mit altem Charm restauriert. Schöner Dachgarten, sehr gutes Frühstück und freundliches Personal und das alles direkt am Rand der Altstadt - was will man mehr?

Convenient hotel in the old town, a couple of minutes walk from the main street. Easy to get to by car, and the parking is under the hotel around the corner. Nice breakfast and great service. Rooms very clean and spacious.
