"The welcome at reception was friendly and helpful. Our room was a decent size and dog friendly. Hotel is like a rabbit warren but well sign posted. Comfortable bed and efficient shower, decor was a bit tired and the lift was an old style metal gate which relied on other customers closing the gate after use so others could use it. Breakfast was served in a light and roomy restaurant, however as we had our dog with us we had to sit in the bar ( this was being repaired with scaffolding and noisy...

"Had a lovely stay, very clean. Great amenities/swimming pool/spa. Comfy bed. Quiet surroundings but near to town for pubs/restaurant. Perfect for a night or 2 away. Will be back for sure"

"We only had an overnight stop here, but it was a great place to stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room and general public areas of the property were all fine. We had an evening meal and a full breakfast and they were both very tasty. Having an EV charger (22kW) in the car park was a really useful bonus as we left our car to charge overnight. Would definitely stay here again."

"Quite dated in decor and furnishings, but all in keeping with the look and feel of an older country residence. Every interaction was a helpful, friendly one. Would return if I have reason to stay in the area again"
