Unique hotel built in 1422. Lots of history. The owner was extremely helpful, courteous and regaled us with stories about the place. A very homey feeling. Loved it.

Milecastle Inn on Hadrian's Wall Near Haltwhistle
Accurately advertised. You can literally see a mile castle on Hadrian’s Wall from your room. Beautiful country views. A problem with our heat was addressed immediately. Excellent dinner choices and service in the cozy pub.

Swallow Cottage
Swallow Cottage is in a great location for exploring Cumbria and Northumberland. We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and very clean cottage. The owner was fabulous when we had a small issue and responded straight away. We'd definitely stay here again
