Well, it was ok, you get what you pay for

We booked the Millifont at the last minute as it was in the right location. However people need to be aware that all you get is a room and a very small shower/toilet room; the parking is in a nearby multi-storey carpark for which vouchers are provided (so it's effectively free), and there is no food included in the price. For not a great deal more you could get a room at the nearby Travelodge

Fresh comfy clean Millifont

My sis and I stayed at Millifont for 3 nights, in their en-suite double room, It had recently had new bathroom refit, comfy bed lovely fresh white bed linen, they supplied our towels also lovely fluffy white towels. We were allowed to keep our luggage in his room downstairs for hours after we had booked out, all in all a very pleasant stay. Other than the noise of the seagulls seemingly going all all night :-)

To start with man looked at us like we shouldn't be there when we arrived and was very sharp with how he spoke to us and then showed us to our room, which basically i wouldnt put my dogs to stay in, there were stains on bedding and the ensuite was not so ensuite was more of a cupboard with the ceiling falling down and also was a puddle on the floor the toilet systern looked like it was gonna fall down. Horrible nights sleep never again.

Overall the hotel was clean and the room was OK for the price. It was not very convenient that the toilet and the shower was outside the room. I had to leave the room in the middle of the night. There was no one on site to make inquiry if possible to upgrade the room foe extra pay, of course. It was very noisy the first night I stayed, someone was shouting and swearing. Again, no help from the staff.

Service was great, key was locked in a lock box as arrived after reception closed. However the bathroom had black mould on the ceiling and the toilet had a puddle of “water” around it..

Great place to stay for very cheap. It was clean and basic which is all we needed. Shared bathroom with a 2 other rooms but we didn’t see anyone and there is also a sink and mirror in the room. Great location in Hastings. Would recommend strongly.

Honestly not a bad hotel, it’s main focus is the location as it’s very close to many major attractions. The hotel room was ok, we only stayed a night and due to our small budget we didn’t have room to be fussy.

Hastings weekender

A room only stay with shared bathroom, however bathroom was opposite and felt like an en suite. Only share with two other rooms but felt like it was our own. Room was clean and comfortable and adequate for our needs. WiFi connection was a bit intermittent but resolved on request. Good location, walking distance to town and beach. W

Quality is about what you would expect. The room was clean. Good location. Despite the fact that it was not possible to close the windows it was absolutely boiling all night. Noisy. Shared bathroom had wet towels all over the floor. Check in and out was easy.

Very good value

Clean comfy and centrally located. As with most budget hotels you need earplugs for noises off, but we had no problems with that. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff.

Cheap clean location near to beach and town centre

Clean basic room with coffee/tea and TV available. Shower/Toilet next door was clean and well stocked. Location is very close to the train station, town centre and the beach, so very convenient for getting around Hastings and the surrounding area ie Battle by train.

nice little budget place to stay, great location

I was pleased with my stay overall, make no mistake this is a budget hotel/guest house, but that is perfectly OK. The location is perfect being a 5 mins walk from both the train station and the beach. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was basic, but cosy.
