"I tried to cancel the first night of a 3 night stay because it ended up I didn't need to be at my destination until day 2. I thought I called the hotel, but my call actually went to the owners in another city. When I asked to cancel, they told me that they would call back in 30 minutes. No callback, so I called again. I was again told that they would call back in 30 minutes. No callback, so I called again and was told to contact the booking agency. By then it was past the allotted time to cancel. The room was far from nice, the TV didn't work, the pillows were the worst I have ever seen."
