"We stayed at KDV resort in mid March. The good: The room was mostly clean, we did find a sock under the bed. The high ceiling made the room feel larger than it was. There was a mostly unobstructed view of the lake and dam from our balcony. We enjoyed fishing and playing pickleball at the tennis court. The breakfast smorgasbord was very good and reasonably priced. The server was very nice and helpful. Not so good: both doors to the room were not sealed well at the bottom and light and cold air got in. If it was summer, bugs would have got in. The bathroom sink would not drain and we ended up using the bathtub for brushing teeth and washing hands. We reported the problem to the front desk on our first night and no one ever came to fix it or to call us about it. No staff asked or offered to clean our room during our 3 night stay. We had to ask for fresh towels, toilet paper, coffee, tissue, soap, at the front desk on two occasions. It seemed like the staff didnt want to do alot because it was the off season and they may have been shorter staffed. It would have been nice to receive a map of the property to check out the different areas of the resort. Overall rating is a 3."

"Check in was easy, room was nice clean and spacious. Only issues I have ever had staying here is that they do not have a black out curtain over the door. The property is well lit all night which is good, But the door has blinds inside the window and they do not do any good keeping the well lit parking lot lights out of the room. I would love it if they please put an black out curtain on the door. THe room stays fairly lit because of it ."

"Our employee's have stayed here before. However, this time was pretty terrible. Headboards in both rooms coming off, squeaking and uncomfortable beds. Also was not very clean. Not sure what has happened from December 2025 to March 2026 but it's not going in a great direction."

"The room was clean, but the property itself was run-down and there need to be more lights outside in the parking lot. It is inexpensive and close to Murray State University, which is where I was going."

"There is a fire pit and front porch rockers. The local activities for kids would be a little bit of a walk. This is a nice, quiet place to stay, with or without kids."
