"First time staying at this hotel. We booked for an anniversary weekend for 3 nights. Staff are so friendly and courteous, from reception to the bar and the spa area. The foyer as you walk in is so beautiful, with the hanging lights and grandeur. It’s kept very clean and tidy every day. There’s a bar area up the steps from foyer where you’ll find comfy sofas and big chairs to lounge in, this was such a nice area to sit and have pre-drinks before heading to the restaurant for evening meal. During the day you can sit with a good book and enjoy the comings and goings of the hotel. There is soft music playing all the time which just adds to the ambience. We had such a lovely relaxing break. Spa We booked the couples day at the spa which included massage, Thermal spa experience and afternoon tea - this was sublime. Definitely recommend doing this if you can. Afternoon tea, especially, was a lovely treat and so tasty. Special thanks to Beth, on spa reception who went above and beyond for us during our time at the spa. There were a few hiccups but all dealt with promptly and professionally. The rooms We booked a superior room, was really lovely with the addition of small table and armchair to the side of the bed. Overall, we had such a lovely few days and big thanks to all the members of staff who served with a smile and made us feel very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing stay with spa and treatments. Thank you "

"The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and the decor very fresh. Car parking directly outside and tram stop into Manchester centre a two minute walk away. I would like to give a big thank you to Gita. What a lovely, caring, helpful, happy, friendly and very welcoming young lady on reception. She is an absolute credit to the hotel. I use hotels quite frequently and Gita stands out as a natural. Please pass on our thanks. "
