Nice hotel, great location

The hotel is nice, located in the centre of the Old City, which meant it was a bit noisy. Not that we minded, it was great to have everything on our doorstep. Room was clean if a little worn. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Avoid staying here if you can. Not only was there loud construction from 8 am to 4 pm (ear plugs can’t block the loud sounds out) But also my fake tan lotion also left a stain on the sheets - never has this been an issue at any hotel I stayed at because it’s washable, but they told me I need to pay 500,000 (a bargain from 1,000,000 for new sheets…) fake tan is washable but maybe they don't know about fake tan lotion in vietman. Regardless when I arrived there were ALREADY stains on the sheets so maybe the sheets aren’t washed in between guests and that’s why it’s an issue that now the sheets have to be washed for the first time. I was shocked at their response to me. Regardless of the issue and me having to pay extra as that wont be applicable to everyone, the construction sounds were horrible. Beware.

Loved the location of the property, but this hotel is in need of a good cleaning and renovation. There was so much clutter on the lobby area and outside the lobby elevators. The room was a bit depressing as it was in need of an update/refresh. The shower head was so old and corroded that water barely came out. Better places are not too far from this hotel for a more reasonable price.
