By far the best part was the staff, though. The housekeepers kept my room clean and tidy every day, front desk staff was welcoming and friendly, and Helena was so extremely kind and thoughtful! I would have liked to get to know them better if I had more time. Thank you Le Chanvre! 💖

We had a great stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were excellent. They were very helpful in giving us advice and always very friendly! The room was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was very good with lots of options. This hotel is definitely recommended for staying in the old town area of Hanoi.

Wonderful stay at the Le Chanvre hotel in Hanoi. The rooms and the hotel was very beautiful and clean. The highlight was the friendliest staff who took the greatest care. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and they upgraded us to a bigger room and had it decorated to make the event special.

Let's start with the staff. Helena and ALL the staff were amazing. So helpful with safety tips, recommendations and directions to the places we inquired about! The breakfast was great, done to order omelets, bread station, fruit station, rice, spring rolls, juice etc. I'm a huge bread fan. The buns were amazing. The twin room we booked was very small ( we knew this). But we were able to fit all our luggage in there. They offer oranges and bananas in the room along with two bottles of water. There is a mini fridge and a kettle for your convenience. The rooftop pool is small, but beautiful! I would definitely return.

The hotel facilities and staff were beautiful. The roof top bar makes for an amazing experience, The resteraunt has a magnificent variety and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Right in the heart of old quater and wallable to all main tourist spots. Very great stay and would recommend to all.

Very happy with my stay at Le Chanvre Hanoi Hotel Spa Hanoi. Shout out to all the staff but in particular Helena. From the moment I arrived she made me feel very welcome and went out of her way to help with anything I needed. The hotel has nice facilities (check out the spa for an excellent massage) and is in an excellent location. I also like that there is is a bit of space out the front with some tables and chairs where you can sit and have a moment to yourself, drink a coffee and plan your day. Thanks again :)

We did not get a chance to use the spa or the sauna but did use the rooftop bar area however the pool was a little cool for us as the weather was overcast. Can't say enough about the staff at this hotel from the door staff to desk, cleaning and restaurant servers. These people are excellent at what they do, so friendly and helpful. We would return to this hotel and recommend it to anyone. Andrew the door man was a great guy with his suggestions and I'm so sorry I can't remember the girl who helped us at the front desk but so glad she was there to answer questions and make personal security suggestions to us before heading out to the night market. Glad we stayed here.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Hanoi Old Town. Room was relatively small compared to others I had stayed at but I think that's pretty normal for Hanoi. My room was really quiet, despite the location. Bed was super comfy. Staff were absolutely amazing. Sky Bar was gorgeous with lovely views - too cold to try the pool unfortunately!

We have just returned from the best trip to Vietnam! Our first stop was Hanoi and we stayed at this fantastic hotel located in the old quarter. Check in was so easy, rooms clean and you are right in the hustle and bustle of this amazing city. After 2 nights we went off to Halong bay and the hotel kept all of our luggage until our return which made everything stress free. We have stayed at 6 hotels during this trip and my husband and I have both agreed that this hotel stood out as our best. What makes this hotel extra special are the staff! Mia and Helena are so wonderful, welcoming and cannot do enough for you and the lovely Andrew who always greeted us with a big smile and gave us some great recommendations for our visit to Hue! Thank you for making our time in Hanoi so fantastic and we will definitely be back!
