"Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Bathroom was bright and pristine. Everything new and well designed. Pet fee was steep ($40) for one night. May be reasonable if that covers the entire stay so worth checking. Only point lost on eco-friendliness is using take away containers for breakfast from adjacent restaurant, but maybe only an issue for dog owners who can’t leave pets while they eat in."

"We stayed here for the nostalgia, it’s been 25 years since we came to the Thunderbird and it didn’t disappoint! I’m pretty sure the pool was closed then too - but we weren’t there to swim and it’s not advertised as having a pool. We just enjoyed the humor of it all. The room was clean and the guy who checked us in was friendly. If you’re looking for luxury, then pay quadruple the price and stay elsewhere! The Thunderbird Motel is a gem, an absolute classic and for the price, I have zero complaints. 10/10, would go again. Also, the carpet and interior decor is a vintage throwback - wow the memories!"
