"I stayed at the Alpine Club in June with a friend. Contrary to the listing, there was no wireless internet anywhere on the property, no coffee/tea maker in the room, no laundry services, no iron or ironing board on request. While we were there there was also no hot water, when we wanted to bathe we would call for a bucket of hot water to be brought up to the room. "I was disappointed with the room.It definitely needed a refurbishing since it looked old and tired. The bathroom was particularly disappointing with a great deal of work to bring it to the star rating. The spa too could do with a facelift. The one place that I felt was 5 star was in the dinning room with the chef and the catering manager taking the accolade,overall a lovely place to stay at."
