"Stay was amazing ! Mr Fukushima was so kind - he helped us with discounted lift tickets, picked us up from the train station and took us grocery shopping. Location was right at the Iwatake gondola. Please note the unit is in traditional Japanese style - sleeping on the floor with Japanese pillows (very different to western pillows). Highly recommend !"

"We stayed at Prominence near the start of spring. During this time, many shops, restaurants, and cafés were either closed for the season, closed early, or had limited seating. Many bar-style eateries were also not very welcoming to families with children. "perfect for a couple nights while snowboarding at the ski hills nearby! the lovely lady, who i’m assuming is the owner, was just the sweetest lady. she was more than happy to help us sort out transportation around town and to the ski hill, make dinner reservations for us, and drive us to the shipping outlet to ship our bags to the airport. i would absolutely recommend, and i will definitely be back! "
