"The Kiln Hotel in Wakefield has the look and feel of a run down American Motel that has been abandoned several decades ago.
Desperately in need of refurbishment it appears that the new owners have not made any improvements since taking over from Campanile Hotels.
The room I stayed in for 1 night looked as if it had not been decorated for 20 years and still had a lingering odour of Cigarette smoke. Whilst the bed linen was clean the base was full of stains and filthy.
